Dr. Terrence M. Punch, CM, has masters and doctoral degrees from Saint Mary’s University. Terry Punch has been a speaker, teacher and writer of history and genealogy for over thirty years. He has held the chair of the Royal Nova Scotia Historical Society, the Genealogical Institute of the Maritimes, and the Charitable Irish Society. He is a Life Fellow of the Royal Society of Antiquaries of Ireland. He is the only Canadian to be elected a Fellow of the Irish Genealogical Research Society. He is resident genealogist for CBC Maritime Noon. In 2010 he was named a Member of the Order of Canada.
